Google Drives itself integrates with Google Docs, where files that exist in Google Docs is automatically saved in the Google Drive. The size of the original space is provided free of charge is 5 GB and the available options to enlarge the space up to 1 TB with monthly payment scheme. To gain space 100 GB for example, fees paid are more expensive than the SkyDrive, but would still cheaper than that offered by Dropbox.

By using this google hosts programs, means the owner of the file has to have back-up his files on the internet so if there is something on a file that is stored on your computer or laptop, for example, the file is missing or corrupted or infected with a virus, or a computer/laptop is damaged which causes cannot be used, then the files that are in the Google Drive remains secure and remain accessible using other computers connected to the internet.
